Translation services for foreign students

Here at AmeriLing, we recognize the value that international students and scholars bring to the USA, and we are happy to be of service. Our translations are done by experienced, professional translators and are designed for use in academia and business.

We can translate documentation from any language to English or vice versa. While we can work on any type of source text, the most common translation requests that we see from university clients are of various governmental certificates, academic records and financials.

How to initiate a new translation request

We understand that this may be your first time requiring the services of a translation agency, so we try and educate our clients on the translation process and provide clear and transparent guidance to prospective clients. The below is the standard lifecycle of the translation process. If anything is unclear, please feel free to contact us for clarification via the chat function on the website, email or phone.

  1. Request a quote from us: Translation pricing has several variables including the original language, formatting and processing time, so there are no set rates. That said, it is recommended that you send us your documents for a free quote using this link or by emailing quotes@ameriling.com. Our standard processing time for most documentation is 3 business days, so if you need your translation more quickly or if you have any other personal preferences, please let us know in the message section of your quote request. As a general rule, you can expect translations to cost approximately $40-$60 per page, with a $75 project minimum.
  2. You will receive a quote via email with payment instructions. If you would like to proceed, follow the payment instructions from the email. We accept 3 modes of payment, including credit card (with a 3% processing fee), ACH Payment (no processing fee) or Zelle (About Zelle no processing fee). 
  3. Once payment is received, we will begin to work on your translation.
  4. Once the translation is complete, we will email it to you.

How much will my translation cost and how long will it take?

If you don’t need rushed processing, you can generally expect to be charged *approximately* $40-$60 per page, with a project minimum of $75. Our standard turnaround time for most projects is 3 business days.

Do I need to send you my original documents?

No, we generally receive translation requests by email.

I received my translation back and there seems to be an error. Will you be able to correct it?

If you believe that a correction is needed to your translation, please contact us by email and if it is determined that edit(s) are required, we will make them at no extra cost.

How can I pay for my translation?

We offer 3 payment methods. Credit card (+3% processing fee), ACH Payment (No fee) or Zelle (No Fee).

I don’t have access to a scanner. How can I send you the documents?

If you don’t have access to a scanner, you can take a picture of the documents with your mobile phone and send us those pictures. If you’re an iPhone user, you can use an app called Scannable to get high quality scans from your mobile phone.
