Translation Services

Can I request a free quote?

Yes. Just submit a quote request on our website or email us at quotes@ameriling.com. When you submit a quote, please let us know your preferred deadline for completed translated documents/content. We typically get back to requests within the day.

Do I need to send you my original documents?

Assuming you have a clear, easily-legible scan, an electronic copy is fine and even preferred. If the scans aren’t legible, we may ask that you mail us the original documents.

What is your standard turnaround time for document translation?

Most translations will be provided within three business days. However, the size and amount of documents determines the estimated turnaround time. After we analyze your request, we’ll let you know about how much time we’ll need. Rush rates apply if you need a translation completed sooner than three business days.

I found an error in the translated documents—how can I have these corrected?

Email us with a detailed description of any errors you found. Any problems from our side will be corrected at no additional cost.

The most common reasons for errors are:

1. Poor scan quality of source documents

2. The source document(s) is in a non-Latin alphabet language, such as Hindi, Hebrew, Chinese, Japanese, or Russian. In these cases, the translator uses his/her best judgment in determining the anglicized spelling of proper names or places.

I’m a lawyer working on a pro bono case for a client with a limited budget. Can you help translate documents?

We understand the importance of document translation for certain cases involving foreign languages and are happy to consider pro bono requests on a case-by-case basis. When submitting such a request, specify that it’s a pro bono case upfront so that we can consider your budget concerns.

Billing and Payment

Is payment required upfront for translation services?

If you are an individual requesting a translation on your own behalf, upfront payment is typically required. However, if you represent a law firm or corporation, we can establish a corporate account for you. If you have a corporate account, we will send you an invoice with the completed service and payment would be due within 30 days of invoice submission.

What payment methods do you accept?

We offer a number of payment methods to clients including Check, ACH and Zelle. We also accept payment via credit card, albeit with a 3% processing fee.
